When sitting down with my family last fall to decide if running for Mayor of Louisville was in fact the best thing for us, I had to confront the tough questions.
Was I ready to lead?
Did I have the ideas to alter the way Metro Hall operates?
Could I win?
I've never done anything without putting forth all energy and resources, but still the task seemed daunting. The more I thought about this and talked to people from every corner of Louisville, the more excited I became. Louisville is ready for a new direction. Our metro Government, and its attitude toward its daily business has been the same for a generation, and the people of Louisville see that and are ready for an improvement. They don't want a mayor who is going to hold an office and shuffle the same city bureaucrats around. With the financial resources, organization, and best team around me, WE WILL WIN!
I've laid out the first parts of my plan on the other sections of this website, but I feel compelled to tell the people of Louisville who find themselves learning more about me, that I will not be outworked or out-campaigned.
Our support is too great and my confidence comes from those who are understanding more about my genuine, new ideas to give our city and neighborhoods a fresh start.
